We are working on a trip for fathers and sons to go play paintball on Thursday, December 29th. We need to get 20 people to get a group rate, and it will cost us $50 per person. We also need people willing to drive out to the site.
We plan on starting by gathering for 7 am mass at Immaculate Conception. We will then gather for bagels and a quick bite to eat before leaving for Skirmish in Jim Thorpe, PA.
Please sign up so that we can get a count and make sure we have drivers. You can sign up by going here http://lifesygns.eventbrite.com
You will need a waiver signed by a parent, which is located at

Please bring this signed on the day of the trip.
The final event of the advent series is upon us! This sunday we will be having the living nativity. we are still in need of help, especially if you can help us get a pony to the church! Practice begins at 3:30, and the event opens at 5 pm. We hope to see you all there!
The LifeSygns youth group will be sponsoring 4 weeks of “The Sygns of the Season”. Each Sunday evening during Advent a different topic will be discussed. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to attend these sessions – either all 4 or just the topics that interest you. They are as follows:
There are some things in the works that I cannot discuss fully yet, but if it all come to fruition, this might be the most amazing Advent we have ever had a chance to participate in!!! Time to step up!
Here is something I came across online. It’s almost as if the Pope attended the retreat!
will keep us from having the teen mass and meetings tonight. We are still on for everything. The church is chilly, but the parish hall is toasty! Practice & setup at 5 pm, mass at 6pm, Family prep at 7 pm, short meeting after. And by the way, your permission forms are due tonight!!!!!
Finally, after a lot of time spent wondering and worrying, we have made it to a new site! We hope to make continual improvements moving forward, so please let us know what you think when you come to meetings or via our different methods of communications. We hope that this site helps keep everyone connected as we move forward into the New Evangelization.
What is the New Evangelization you may ask? It comes from a statement made by Pope John Paul II in his letter NOVO MILLENNIO INEUNTE,
Over the years, I have often repeated the summons to the new evangelization. I do so again now, especially in order to insist that we must rekindle in ourselves the impetus of the beginnings and allow ourselves to be filled with the ardour of the apostolic preaching which followed Pentecost. We must revive in ourselves the burning conviction of Paul, who cried out: “Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel” (1 Cor 9:16).
Pope Benedict XVI has called on us all to take up this task, creating the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization. In all our actions, be they online or in person, we are called to evangelize to the world. We are starting here. Where will you start?
